I am primarily a watercolor artist, with a focus on landscape and portraiture. Most of my works are large with a loose but realistic style. I have been painting since the late 1970’s; my first solo portrait show was in 1987 when I was in college. After a brief stint as an illustrator at an advertising agency, I took a hiatus from art after college to start a business with my brother and to start a family. It wasn’t until my daughter went off to college for art that I decided to throw myself back into painting.
