Fulvio Pinna was born in 1948 in Furtei (Italy/Sardegnia). He lives most of the time in Berlin. His works are in private collections and in various museums in Italy, Germany, Austria, France, England and the USA. At the Berlin "East Side Gallery" he painted a 52 square meter fresco. It is called "Inno alla gioia" (Ode to Joy), March 1990. The "East Side Gallery" is a listed building and a museum. "Fulvio Pinna combines the archaic, earthy knowledge with the expressiveness of a creative philosopher. In his art, immortality does not remain an intellectual axiom, but rather the living, even abysmal, power of 'death and becoming' pulsates in it." (Klaus Koeppe, philosopher)
