I've decided to paint this canvas because I wanted to demonstrate to myself how my technique was improving. I also wanted to put on canvas my idea of still life paintings, similar to my other painting with the Coke. This painting should put the viewer into thinking some erotic thoughts. Enjoy

Excerpt from a criticism: The Artist is what gives Maria Agozzino, born in 1996, concludes her academic career in 2020, thus closing a cycle of studies profitable with results and deserved awards, in recent years I have been able to appreciate the seriousness, dedication and passion with which Maria has elaborated and made mature his artistic career. Often those who look at her paintings are struck by the pictorial quality of what she sees, or rather of what "recognizes" the virtuosity of the brushstroke and the verisimilitude of the subjects, making us feel comforted and involved. The subjects often manifest themselves in an alienating immobility and concede nothing to banal descriptiveness or easy consent. The risk and that one can easily fall into superficial judgments neglecting, in fact, everything that is in fact contained Beyond the image. Maria Agozzino loves "knowing how to do" and "knowing how to think" aware of the fact that art, by its nature, she is transgressive ... but on a basis of knowledge and her youthful references (Caravaggio, Leonardo) did not prevent her from fully living her artistic maturity; aware that in art there is only good or bad painting. Without paying too much attention to the fear of being tied to the pictorial tradition, she Maria of her, she lives her contemporaneity to the fullest both in the subjects and in the materials she uses for her works. She works with vivid colors, colors that must be considered phantom, that is, pure visual spectra without physical reality, precisely because the artist can imagine them and even dream them even before spreading them on the work. Maria certainly knows the pictorial matter and the value of drawing and color in the infinite expressive possibilities that they offer, grafting her own poetics on this ... with a slow rhythm, to the rediscovery of value, of the pause and of the regenerating interval, in awareness that, above every consideration ... the Artist is what she gives.
