Cantaros del alma - Migratorias 2/6 Print

I am a Colombian artist based in Italy. I draw and create since I can remember. Through my work I try to create fantastic naturalistic images by weaving small surreal stories full of details. The great protagonists of my works are women, animals, nature and the processes they go through. All submerged in dreamlike landscapes loaded with biographical elements where I try to delve into and perhaps unravel these panoramas. I work as an illustrator, textile designer and everything that comes to me that involves drawing and I even get paid for it. I have survived so far in my adult life thanks to art. I also write, tattoo, do murals, collage and played the violin for ten years. Multidisciplinary artist is a successful synthesis, but above all I am a woman artist in continuous training and change, who likes to experiment with different techniques and materials. And above all, I don't want to delve into this biography because I hate defining myself in any other way than through my messes, doodles, and creations.
