Caribbean beach with coconut Print

I am moving to a beach town in a couple of months, so I got inspired to make this painting. I wanted to transmit the Caribbean beauty of an almost virgin island in a big canvas. This one of a kind painting was done in oil and acrylic, in a vertical canvas. It is a mixture of realism with a modern representation of the sky and mountains. I started this painting in oil, and wanting to achieve the freshness of acrylics, I added many layers of gesso which is mandatory for this technique. I based my painting on a photograph purchased online. The painting continues at both sides (1.7" wide each) ahd it is ready to go, so it can be displayed without a frame, hanged by a nail or two horizontally aligned. I use professional grade materials and canvas. The painting is finished with a glaze of varnish to protect against sunlight and dust. JAM is my signature, visible at the bottom left. Certificate of authenticity is provided.
