ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A determined figure walks in wide flowing textural robes on an isolated ground while a very longs string of ultramarine beads swings the length of her form. Painted loosely in an illustrative style to capture shape, form, texture, color and movement with expressive visible brushstrokes and using pure color. The original 12x16" watercolor painting was inspired by Cherie Chun, a next-gen fashion designer embracing sustainable fashion. It was painted from a live drawing session presented by Drawing Cabaret Couture, featuring model, Aisling Tara with Art Direction and set design by Matthew Lawrence.
