About The Artwork

This artwork was created during my personal project "25 pet portraits". Chickens and egg original oil painting in oil was painted on UNSTRETCHED canvas. The painting needs to be framed to be hung on the wall. The quality of Italian canvas, natural paint pigments and original fine art are guaranteed. IMPORTANT! * Frame and bars are not included. * In-person, paintings do not look the same as on your computer screen. The difference may be in the brightness, contrast, shades. It depends on the color-light settings of your monitors and their screen resolution. But in reality, paintings appear much prettier and more interesting than on your screen. It's a one-of-a-kind, hand-signed fine art piece. The size of the image: 7.9x11.8 inches/ 20x30 cm. The size of the canvas 9.5x13.5 inch/ 24x34 cm/ The canvas may be stretched or may be inserted into passe-partuot. Anyway, please contact me if you have any questions!

Eleonora Taranova was born in 1971, in Ukraine. Fleeing the war, she appeared in Denmark where she is based now. As a child, Eleonora lived in a house with animals and observed their behavior. She learned to portray the emotions and movements of pets on her own since there was no art school in the town. After working as a teacher at a higher school for over 20 years, she quit her job for health reasons and took up painting as a hobby. Now she works as a full-time artist. As the main topic of her art, she has chosen animals for the last 13 years. Inspired by the rock carvings' coloristic and the works of Rembrandt, Francis Bacon, Mikhail Vrubel, Franz Mark, Eleonora tries to bring the idea of empathy and respect to a living being.
