ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is after Andrew Wyeth's 1948 painting Christina's World. In the post 911 era Christina, still a child is no longer alienated and alone, she is in her mother's care. But together they are under attack by alien forces they cannot fully grasp or reconcile. Here these forces take on the scale and threat of a tornado but the danger extends into areas that will likely effect their lives for a generation of more.
