Churchill.Statehood series Print

I am fond of history and often paint portraits of prominent people who command respect for their contribution to the development of civilization. One of my heroes is British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. I painted a lot of his portraits, each time setting myself different tasks. In the pointillism series, I wanted to make the image "documentary", with the effect of photography. It seems to me that this is how Churchill should have appeared on the pages of newspapers and magazines of that time. In my other series of works, entitled Statehood, Churchill is different - with its pluses and minuses, sometimes with very contradictory political steps and, as a consequence of his policies, with different perceptions by ordinary people of this undoubtedly outstanding personality.
