I paint to give voice to my emotions and my mind. I paint because I believe that art is the best way to represent one's visions and hidden parts deep within one's self. I believe that art is a salvation for the human spirit, a guide capable of accompanying us towards the exact choices. I prefer the figurative, but lately I've opened up to abstract and liberating forms. My figurative works of art represent for the most part female physiognomies translated into a multitude of moments and moods. Through the woman I can represent moments of my life and my thoughts, in the hope that someone else - or someone else will be able to see each other again, to mirror themselves. The supports used for the realisation of the works are canvas and paper, of the latter I like the power to obtain an effect that refers in some way to the the prints, while maintaining that artisanal and unique taste that only a work of art can offer. My figures come to life from acrylics, carbons and oil paints, but in reality I love continually experimenting with constantly different techniques and materials. Gold and blue are my companions, those inevitable colours in my palette, which remind me of the beauty of the night when the sky is sprinkled with stars.
