Recently moved to Castlemaine, Yuna Chun is currently exploring how one's living experience evolves in response to their environment. Her work, painted with acrylic on wood panels, depicts the forms of urban structures combined with vibrant colors, creating hard-edge geometric patterns. Since moving to regional Australia from Metropolitan Korea, Chun has discovered her curiosity in Australian flora and fauna, inspiring her to experiment with a new artistic style.
Born in Seoul, Yuna Chun earned her BFA from RMIT University in 2011. Following nine years in Australia, she initiated her artistic journey in Seoul and has been working between Korea and Australia.
