This is one of my cats Clodia. I wanted to convey the similarities with the real cat and my attitude to this pet. I paint, but also I work with ceramics so surfaces are really important for me. I used special acrylic pasta to give the surface of the canvas a texture.

From my early years I knew that I should be an artist. When I was a teenager I fell in love with painting. I felt the freedom of it and it could convey my emotions better than something else. And I have retained that love to this day. I graduated Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry in 2010. I paint, work with clay and porcelain. Very simple things can inspire me to work. I get my ideas in nature, architecture and myths. I believe that art is the evidence of something genuine and an artist should be honest and work hard to find his own way to show it.
