Marcin Paprota (born 1979, Wałcz) is a painter and visual artist. The artist primarily works with oils and spray paint on canvas, creating in the style of expressive realism. His brushstrokes are bold, intertwining ecological activism with moving human truths. His art calls for sensitivity to nature amidst human recklessness. He draws inspiration from literature, personal experience, and observations of society. His work is distinguished by its large formats and impasto texture. His works balance between realism and abstraction, emphasizing the tension between everyday life and the inner world. His paintings are in private collections across Europe (12 works in Vienna). He currently lives and works in Dungarvan, Ireland.
