Just another dreamy day here on earth, I'm relaxing here with my butler cherub and everlasting popcorn popping microwave. I hope people get a sense of relaxation for I think we could always use a little more of in our everyday lives. Fortunately, I usually just spend my heavenly days painting which is why I've included my painting of clouds in there. I like painting because it lets me change my mind at any point in the process and if you can mix all your own colors you can pretty much communicate anything you want, people usually don't get too upset, I mean they are just pictures. I usually get slotted in the humor or Surrealism section, both these styles help me deal with stuff. Great escape too. All 4 sides of the painting are painted and therefore does not require a frame. Painting comes complete with hangy wire and ready for your enjoyment!

Artist Statement: Art is an exploration of my everyday experience as a human being. I enjoy developing connections with others, connections of a particular kind. I explore the strange, the unusual and the fantastical. My art has also been described as a splash of wit, a sprinkle of social commentary, a dash of humour and a bucket load of fun. Artist Biography: Lisa Ng was born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. As a child she immediately held an interest in being a poet of sorts. She attended the Dundas Valley School of Art and graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Lisa considers herself a self-taught artist. She gets inspired by people. Lisa Ng has won numerous awards including those from the Scarborough Arts Council and the Artist's Network of Riverdale and has received positive reviews from both the Globe and Mail and NOW Magazine. Lisa Ng is also the Rogue Leader of The Spooky Astronauts Drawing Club and a friend of Pablo Jueves.
