Nevet Montgomery was an exemplary, award winning artist and art teacher throughout her life, up until her passing at the age of 88. Nevet was born and raised in New York in 1933. She lived all over the world and settled in the Denver area in the early 2000's. She studied art at Brooklyn College, the University of Maryland, and the Ecole des Beaux Art in Paris. She taught most of her life, all the way through to six months before her passing. Award winning works were juried by the National Gallery of Art of Washington, D.C., and hung across the world. Commissions were sold worldwide. She passed away in December 2021, leaving a large collection to share with the world. In her Will, she urged her 3 daughters to keep some and sell the rest, so the world can also enjoy her work.
