Carla Gonçalves is a Portuguese artist, born in 1967 in Angola. She completed his Archeology course in 1991 (Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto) and completed his master's degree in painting in 2010 (Faculty of Fine Arts of Porto). She has been exhibiting in individual and group exhibitions since 1996, having received the 3rd João Barata painting prize in 1996. She is an artist with continuous poetic work, generally resorting to painting and the experimental exercise of various materials to, through it, exercise a diversion from reality daily.
