This artwork is a portrait of love. Not of perfect love or fairy tales, but of the love that is built day by day (the good kind). It is a portrait of the trust that exists in love, of companionship, solidarity, and support. That love that never abandons, that persists, that remains. The love that learns to make room for the other, to take care of them. It is painted on aged books that are collected to revive them through art. Each of the books has a message that communicates with the message of the artwork, and it is composed of eight books, each with a message that relates to the meaning of the piece: Her / Her body / Naked – Support - Personal and collective history - Partnership / Protect - Real life / Mutual masturbation - Friendship / Machismo - Taking a leap. It is part of the "Amortology" series, which is about love in all its facets. Love as behavior, as the things we do for others and for ourselves, "the act of love"; also as a starting point, as a space-time in which decisions are made based on love; this Amortology is also a place of arrival, a point at which you have transformed; and finally, it is the plot, the path that is traveled, the daily gestures, the passing of time. In this series, the books intertwine to tell a story through words that, together, form a narrative.
