These works were not born from a single idea, but from a series of emotional impressions—moments that lingered, textures that spoke, colors that insisted on being felt. I begin with the surface: wood panels that hold weight and warmth. Layers of oil, resin, and pigment are applied not to illustrate, but to evoke. Each stroke is a response—sometimes deliberate, sometimes instinctive. I work until the piece begins to speak back. My path to this work has been anything but linear. I was a self-taught painter for many years before formally studying studio art—graduating with honors at the age of 69. That return to education wasn’t a beginning, but a deepening. It gave language to instincts I had carried all along. In recent years, my work has received international recognition, including the Leonardo Da Vinci Contemporary Artist Award. But accolades are not the measure of meaning. What matters most is that each piece carries a truth—about loss, about love, about the spaces in between. In this collection, I have also invited AI into the studio—not as a replacement for intuition, but as a companion in exploration. Through digital reinterpretation, I have discovered new visual metaphors, unexpected compositions, and emotional echoes that deepen the narrative. The integration is subtle, but present—like memory itself. My process is tactile, emotional, and often nonlinear. I follow the feeling, not the formula. Some pieces arrive quickly; others unfold over months. This is not just art. It is a conversation with disappearance.
