Controlled Chaos / Beacon Blue Print

I present to you an original, abstract painting (acrylic on aluminum) from my series 'Controlled Chaos'. This piece is called "Beacon Blue”, which is the color of the paint used. The paint is applied through a technique I developed, best described as a 'somewhat controlled chaotic mechanical application', with an added human touch. The result is unique and one of a kind. The aluminum 'canvas' is flat, but 'floats' off the wall by the use of some crafty hangars, and has the ability to cast an interesting shadow, being unique in appearance, adding to the overall mystique of the piece. A screw in the wall is all it takes to hang. The painting measures 40" wide and 30" tall, and is rigged to hang either vertically or horizontally. The room pictures shown are to scale. Prints will be forthcoming, and will be available as a high quality giclée print, canvas wrap, and print on aluminum. All work is of course signed and dated by the artist, Andre' Tourrette.
