I'm a native of North Carolina. I come from two generations of self-taught artists. Currently studying color theory and color harmony at Kiefaber Fine Art of Greensboro. My early paintings were of profiles of musical artists, family, neighbors, and friends. After a year of college in North Carolina, I traveled North for employment in Connecticut. The landscapes along the way drew my attention. During those 7 or more years working at a General Motors factory in Bristol, Connecticut. I began taking photos of the scenes that presented themselves as postcard worthy and later started painting them.
