ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Tempera on paper Fabriano, paperweight :700 gr Tempera because of its velvety and matte finish.Ink for its transparency, and coloured pencils for some graphics finishing the work. The painting it is not framed , i advised some non- reflect glass and a very simple frame. I love a lot the structure of this transboard bridge in Buenos Aires. It is a mythic bridge. The neighborhood called La Boca was the first place where immigrants settled in, a strong italian flavor... and tango was born there in La Boca. When we say Tango we think strongly of the nightingale" el ruiseñor : Carlos Gardel, the great argentinian tango's singer Carlos Gardel, " the nightingale" looking with some nostalgia a couple of tango dancers. This bridge inspires me a lot !
