I am Corinna, a contemporary ritual dancer, artist and traditional healer. My artwork is connected to my dance work. In deep listening my body is set in motion and brings the rhythms and forms on the paper. Since 2018 I travel around the globe to dance in eldest landscapes and on sacred sites. Here I listen deeply to those places through my dancing. Within I experience the deep correlation of us and the earth we live on and can journey dancing into the memory of those places. Sometimes it stays just as a dance, another time I transfer those rhythms on paper and share my experiences in my workshops and exhibitions. Since many years I am learning from different indegenious cultures around the globe. Through my own art and my dance work I find a contemporary translation of their knowledge about the human existence and teachings about the wisdom of dance and art. They have a profound understanding of how to use the arts and the dance in a ceremonial way for healing and alignment with our nature, our Mother Earth. I feel that for education of young people, we need those kind of learning to empower the younger generations as well to understand the power of art. In the last year my artistic water healing work "Water to Water" came into life. I travelled to many different seas, lakes and rivers around the globe to learn about the spiritual purpose of water and to create a healing work for it. Every water is so different to each other and has its very own Spirit and story to tell. In a deep listening practice through movement, the water can return to its origin quality and the health increases rapidly. With my work, I like to bring the art and the dance back to the people and to create awareness that through our creative expression we can create a fundamental impact during our environmental challenges. As well as can gain a profound understanding about the human existence. Through this to remember us on the many spiritual and creative possibilities that we have to dream life into being and create a compassionated society again. Furthermore I teach dancers and young people about our existence through art and dance and work choreographically.
