What/who inspired the work? I am inspired by the structure of the world. I think the world began with the paradox of 'nothing' and 'being'. We have to repeat the contraction and expansion of the heart can live. And man and woman meet and make life, and N pole and S pole live on a huge magnet which exists in one body. We live in a structure created by the paradox of the opposite. What do you hope its viewers will feel/think? I wanted to express the most fundamental power of the world. The most fundamental force of the world arises from the opposite paradox. And it has gravity and vitality. And it represents a complex three-dimensional rather than a simple two-dimensional. Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style? I write my own paintings. And do not use a brush. Make a stroke using various tools. The reason is that one stroke is considered as one human.

The world is full of paradox. There is always a need for the existence of opposing forces. Imagine the functioning of heartbeat. It operates by the forces of two opposing actions: Contracts and Expands. When we are cold, we need warmth. When we are hot, we need coolness. On the other hand, when someone forbid me from doing something, it may even cause my increasing desire of doing it. I somehow believe that this is the basic rules of the world. Eventually, I am motivated by this and my work is mostly inspired by this concept — Beginning of the stop. There are two interpretations for “Begin" and “Stop”. Blue is generally defined as cool color tone. However, the hottest part of fire is also appears to be blue, same as the hottest star in the universe. This is an example of opposing forces, and that is why blue always appears in my work, and I am fascinated in it.
