Attempting through my painting to honour the essence of places visited where I have felt how small we are in the face of the grandeur of nature, but also how much we are a part of it. Hoping to share with you the peace or wonderment I have felt in these landscapes which inspired my work, allowing you a moments calm from all the busyness and noise of the world. Grown in Australia, voyaged to the other side of the planet, currently in France. Calling the marshlands of Charente-Maritime home for now. A region with a low horizon and enormous skies; perfect for cloud appreciation and watching storms rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean.
