ABOUT THE ARTWORK

cuboid is a compact homogeneous contraption that appears to be largely immersed in a body of water, floating along according to the random direction of the current or wave as the case may be. Its much like an iceberg that pretentiously suggests a minimized sample of its actual bulk which is visually out of sight and under-water. It floats around innocuously and we fail to appreciate the full intensity of its presence. This is an euphemism for the situation of global warming and climate dysfunction currently pervading the entire world. Like the slight suggestion of the the bulk of the iceberg, the problem is bigger than what most of us know' and more and more people are becoming subjected to the ire of nature as time passes by. Time is not so much on our side much longer unless the etching away at the foundation of nature is abated and curbed, before we cross the line of Rubicon.

Born 18th March 1971 in Benin city, Nigeria. I m married with 2 great kids and another one is on the way, hopefuly the last. Art is my calling in life and its what i do best. Ever since i was aware of myself,i always loved anything artistic and and i indulged myself in them, even though i really wasn't hoping to become a professional artist. Anyway, after a long sojourn in the science world,i finally became a professional artist and i m enjoying every moment of it.i try to embbed deep messages in my works in terms of metaphors and innuendosI ve actually realized that my pool of inspiration cannot be defined with a boundary, because i am constantly changing my perspective and i try to find the most suitable way to express my artistic opinion. And since i m primarily an experimental artist, i really can't say my restless spirit will be comfortable with working in a certain technique for very long. However, the most important thing about my work is that i believe God has a divine presence in it.
