I started paining in the model of the impressionists in 2019. I am following the process of en plein air painting trying to capture the ephemeral. I am always searching for different and new subjects. Every painting was an immersive trip to a place I found unique for its beauty. I grew up in the mountainous Epirus of Greece. At 23, I moved to Athens where I currently live. At Impressionism, I see a painting movement that I can dedicate time and effort to study and explore how the light and the colors can feel more real. I use oil paint for it being of consistent color when wet and dry and for the impasto. My formal education was about Composition, Measuring and Forms.
