ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In the beginning, I wanted to name this painting “returning back home,” where the sunset symbolizes the end of earthly life, the human, who had already left the world of man, stands alone with himself again, and now is going home- back to the house at the peak; Which symbolizes coalescence with the creator that forged him. However, lately it seemed to me that it may also show dawn in the painting. When the sun is rising, a new life begins, and the human separates from the world of God, forgets everything and stays on the path to the world of man, to fulfill what he has to do. The sky of life is not always clear and cloudless, though the sun is still there, even if it is sometimes hidden beyond the clouds. And the mountains here are like the way up that connects the human with the primary creator. Thus, now I am thinking of naming this painting “the circle of life”.

Painting was always my passion. Now I make paintings using mixed media on canvas, although I paint on paper as well. I work with acrylic, watercolor, and graphic materials. I like to make compositions which make the viewer think and feel; paintings which hold secrets and riddles inside them; paintings which you can read like a book. Throughout all my life, I practiced yoga, and I was interested in the spirituality in man. This also is reflected in my art: my topics are searching for meaning, aspiring for calmness and clarity; harmony with nature; the relationship between human and nature; the microcosm inside everyone. Throughout my life, I have seen many nations and cultures, thus, myths, legends, and fairy tales also attract me, and I show all these themes in my art. In my paintings I aim to show the world what fills me: a deep beauty full of secrets and discoveries, a world that connects with nature, and causes the deepest experiences. I would like to express the feeling of the power of nature which saturates us; the feeling of infinity of consciousness, kinship of all living creatures, and the beauty of our world. I want my paintings to help look inside oneself, see the perfection and beauty of every moment.
