Graphic designer, I've been employed by 3 communication agencies, between 1991 and 2002, first in Paris, then in Brittany, where I started to work on my own in 2003. I have always also had a personal artistic practice. I have first focused my interest interested on the human figure. It is especially the energy, the tension, The vibration of the line, then the color and the material which guided my experiments. « Something had to happen... » In 2006, I got interested in what I called « urban scenes ». Those were raw transcriptions of places seen through the Internet, a virtual journey through cities, where people are part of a continuous movement. A virtual trip... A dream of meetings. The first paintings of big format were realized with over head projections of different elements (urban and human). Then, after the integration of a personal library, the creation became totally free, without any source documents. The architectural environment was at first the main element. The human elements were only outlines. Then they took the first colorful place.Streets, buildings were transformed in abstract forms. Then, the text as sign appeared. Words are graphic signs, the sounds of the city, our conversations. Since 2010, I focused my research on abstract rythms, signs of a moving society...
