I am a Chicago born and raised artist living on the north side of the city. A 1975 graduate of Chicago’s Ray Vogue School for Graphic Design and working in advertising since graduation. My painting didn’t begin in earnest until 10 years ago My art began to develop as I started to paint without expectations and to paint for the pure joy of it. I started with abstracts exploring color and technique and realizing the more I painted the more confident I became and the happier I was with the results. That confidence led to my style today. I combine my love of color, people, pets and a sense of humor to paint stories. If I spark your imagination to create your own stories around my painting then I have succeeded in my art. I am listed in Saatchi's 2021 Spring Catalog New Voices as one of Saatchi's Top 100 Artist. My paintings are in private collections in USA, France, Germany, Britain, Austria, Tel Aviv, Greece, South Africa, Australia, South America, and South Korea
