After nearly 20 years in the Commercial Art world creating imagery & interactive projects for brands such as Hilton, Marriot, Mack Trucks, and StateFarm to name a few, Brian checked out of the fast-paced advertising industry and followed his heart all the way to Costa Rica. Upon the sale of his interactive marketing agency, "4O1! creative, ltd." he took his yoga studies and practices more seriously studying mantra, meditation, philosophy & asana deep in the jungle at the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Before long his entrepreneurial spirit took hold and he purchased Balance Yoga Studio in NJ which he and his life partner, Luana Fara ran for a few years before selling the studio and moving to Costa Rica full time in 2018. Here in the lush landscapes of Costa Rica surrounded by a diverse community of Yogis, Healers, and Artists, Brian has found the clarity and courage to go all-in with his true purpose in life, painting. He and his wife now live a simple life at the foothills of the mountains in a charming little house near the river. Brian continues to study, practice & teache yoga & meditation on a regular basis which is often where he finds the inspiration for his artwork.
