ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The inspiration for this painting came from my copywriter partner Steve. It's basically a visual extension of Don McLean's song "Bye, bye Miss American Pie". Set in an imaginary airport departure lounge; it shows all those wonderful musicians who were passengers on small airplanes on their way to concert venues but never arriving.
