My practice exists at the intersection of structure and intuition. Trained in the precision of finance and legal, I spend my days navigating systems built on logic and control. Painting becomes the necessary counterpoint—a space where ambiguity, emotion, and instinct take precedence. Working primarily in abstract acrylic, I explore how colour and form can hold psychological weight. My paintings are not representations of the external world, but translations of internal states—fleeting, layered, and often unresolved. My works emerge from this process, each capturing a moment where clarity dissolves into atmosphere. I am particularly drawn to the tension between definition and obscurity: edges that soften, structures that almost form, and landscapes that feel remembered rather than seen. Through this, I aim to evoke a sense of familiarity that cannot be fully explained—something felt before it is understood. A pivotal moment in my development came in September 2025, when one of my works was curated by Saatchi, affirming the direction of my practice. More recently, in April 2026, the sale of a black-and-white acrylic painting at auction marked another step forward, reinforcing both the resonance and reach of my work. Ultimately, my paintings are acts of release—spaces where control gives way to presence, and where the intangible can briefly take form.
