I was born in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I live and work in Houston, Texas. Capturing the serenity and strength of my subject leads me to yearn to connect with its light and vibration. I use strong color, composition and texture to represent it's power. Preserving the calm, force and expression of its moment in time. I follow the call of the impressionists and the Mexican muralists to fearlessly capture my subject. I work with oils but also may rely on acrylics, watercolors, and colored pencil to achieve the objectives. My contribution towards a smaller footprint comes in the visual conservation of my subject with the use of a canvas, solvent-free paints and brushless work.
