ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Desert Red Foxy (finger painting ,without brush) 2019(88cmx88cmx3.5cm) The painting portrays an Arabian Red Fox. The Arabian red fox is similar in color to the common red fox. However, this fox is more adapted to desert life than its parent species, with its ears being much larger, and its body being much smaller than that of the red fox. In this painting, I have used high texturing for its beautiful fur where I have tried to bring out the authenticity. The fox’s fur, in itself is very soft and beautiful, so I felt the need for using more realistic colors. For the eyes, with its sparkle tells us many stories. Its characteristic of being an intelligent animal is always depicted in all the stories we have heard and read. During my childhood I have also heard and read many tales about the foxes. This was an inspiration. During my last journey to the desert, I wished I could see one but didn’t have any luck on that wish. The only thing that consoles me is that I have seen few Indian Foxes.

ViniV is an Indian artist interested in painting even from the very early age. Along with her education, she used to be engaged in learning oils, acrylics, watercolour, pen and ink, pastels, and life drawing from accomplished art instructors.. After her graduation she entered the art trade as a professional, inspired by landscapes, potraits ,figure drawing etc. By the way of her search into the various branches of painting, she happened to take into consideration the finger painting . As an advancement in the field, she tried oil paint in finger painting and found it convenient and suitable for her .It was a great encouragement for her to precede in the field. "We can't use up all the CREATIVITY. The more we use, the more we have". As true are the words, art and creativity go hand in hand. "Painting is an art by which the artist depicts his passion and excites the audience in a way he could have never imagined". She would like to pick up this passion and capture the life around her in canvas. The power of imagination makes us infinite and this helps her to explore new ways of being creative, to structure new styles and to expand her thoughts. This led me to a new and exciting world of "Finger Painting". Once she stepped into it, she realized how breathtakingly beautiful it is. The wide splash of colours and picturesque view, it provides unparalleled freedom for self-expression. It reflects the emotion as it gives the real bond within you. It was a self-discovery and it gave her the realization that there is no medium in between her fingers and the paints to portrait the beauty of her passion on to the canvas. This brought out a difference in her dreams and her conceptions. It is all so beautiful aesthetic in all senses. She was further inspired by the works of artist like Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Leonardo da Vinci, Jackson Pollock and Raja Ravi Varma and so on. So she took this branch of art seriously for her career and have reach at this level.
