Weadock, Terrence Alan (1961-) BACKGROUND Mr. Weadock grew up in Saginaw, MI, and left when he was 17 to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his B.G.S. from U of M in 1987, the same year he founded Dominant Systems Corporation, an information technology service provider. He started collecting paintings in his mid-20s and now has an extensive collection of antique, vintage, and contemporary artworks. This collection includes many still-life and landscape paintings, with a few portraits and abstracts mixed in. STYLE His love of art led him to try creating his own paintings starting in March of 2023. His specialty can best be described as abstract impressionism with a touch of Fauvism (strong colors). His most recent paintings combine mountains, streams, lakes, and skies to create a beautiful tableau of colors suitable for almost any room décor. I believe this gives me a unique perspective on how to create a beautiful, yet fictional world that brings out the abstract beauty of nature.” OTHER INTERESTS Besides painting, collecting art, and managing his IT services company, Mr. Weadock also plays bass guitar and is a founding member of No Bridges Band, a classic rock band based out of the Irish Hills, MI.
