Desert Sunset Print

Jean is a mixed media artist. She likes to paint semi-abstract landscapes and abstract mixed media paintings. She continually experiments with different ways to create textures in her paintings. She is nfluenced by the shapes in nature and the beautiful surroundings of Northern California and by her previous experiences living in England, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Her paintings are in collections in Europe, United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States. I studied painting at the Rhodesian School of Art in what is now Zimbabwe and for four years in California with master watercolorist Jerry Stitt, AWS. I live in Marin County, California which has many unspoiled coastal areas, nature parks and trails that inspire many of my watercolors. I also teach watercolor painting online.
