Renowned Indian born American contemporary artist Gopaal Seyn is an artist who deeply believes in what Guillemets says, ‘Art is when you hear a knocking from your soul...’. For Seyn art is not produced, but it is lived and experienced as much as you do with your inner voice. The brilliant color palette of his paintings, the resplendent forms and shapes and the absolute dissolution of illusionistic space give way to a world that is steeped in the personal quest and in deep touch with the spirituality in the wider sense of the term. Seyn’s works keep revealing this yawning of the soul and the resonance of a quiet personal quest. To showcase his works is to evoke this idea of quest, to induce this sense of journey. This artistic journey of Seyn can be perceived in each of the works individually and also in totality when seen them displayed linked one with the other. His work is well represented in private collections all around USA and he has a fan following from all over the world. He is also attached to various charitable Institutions where his art is auctioned to raise money for the poor and needy or for the empowerment of women in third world countries. He currently teaches over 175 students every weekend, sharing his passion for art with kids and adults. Keeping this in mind, ECA is showcasing Gopaal Seyn’s works in a way to make sense of his journey, of his quest. It is not only a journey through time but also a journey through the inner space. The feeling of tranquility emerges from this perspective and understanding of his works. His works once again confirm the faith in humanity and beauty as they exist in the purest essence.
