ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Inspired by a difficult time in my life. I felt betrayal from a childhood friend. I felt scared alone wounded and abandoned. This was a turning point after a traumatic experience where I took control and decided to keep fighting for myself despite the overwhelming urge to lay in bed and rot away. The mouth and telephones represent the feeling I had of screaming for help and no one listening. This piece was created from a place of anger vulnerability and spite. I hope you enjoy it.
