ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Dia is an international bass guitar player. he comes from a nomadic people, the Peul. He is one of my favorite muses and this is the very first portrait I made of him. If I sell a portrait of him, he gets 5% of the sale. All the people who pass through my kitchen, where it is exposed, tell me that they are captivated by his gaze. I myself am impressed by this one and often I feel that he knows my thoughts, of course, without feeling the slightest judgment
