I was born in Uzhhorod in the family of well-known Transcarpathian artists - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Ivan Didyk and an artist, lecturer Nadiia Didyk. From 1994 to 1997 she studied at the Department of Art Ceramics at Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli, and from 1997 to 2003–at Lviv National Academy of Arts (Department of Art Textile, Batik). Since 2008 I has been a lecturer of Uzhhorod College of Arts named after A. Erdeli under Transcarpathian Academy of Arts. From an early age the artist’s teachers were her parents who often took their daughter to the plein airs. The creativity of her father Ivan the artist considers a red thread that goes through her life, inspires, encourages to develop her own ideas and themes. The artist works mainly in pastels. As she notes, pastel - a complex, but unique technology that adds specific structuring, sensitivity, and depth on the canvases. She also tries herself in graphics, oil, acrylic. The artist’s palette - bright and clean, light and mostly positive. Among her favourite genre works there are still lifes, landscapes, sceneries of native Uzhhorod. She is the participant of numerous plein airs in Ukraine, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia. She also participated in dozens of group art exhibitions in Ukraine (Kyiv, Lviv) and Poland. The winner of the contest in plastic arts in Krakow (Poland) and Nagasaki (Japan). The author of personal exhibition in Uzhhorod (2017). The artist’s works are at museums and private collections in Ukraine and abroad. Works at A.Ardeli College of Arts, Transcarpathian Academy of Arts, teacher of professional disciplines.
