About The Artwork

Small to Medium-Sized Painting 10" X 14". Originally named "Melting Branch," I gradually realized that what was intended was a portrait of the poet Dickinson----naked in bed. I have cried about that woman at least once. In any case, the effect is of stylish art, in a modern style. By the way, the blonde hair is a reference to Simone d' Beauvoir, who wrote "The Second Sex". This piece is an original, so there will only be one being sold.

"A paragon of pure abstraction" "Locks together like a trap" I am looking for greater exposure for my 'abstract calligraphy'. The style combines M.C. Escher with Abstract Expressionism, evoking Kandinsky, Picasso, or something altogether new. Inspired by the Op-Artists, I use bold contrasts, whether my work is in color or black and white. Hyper-Cubism has many distinct sub-styles, which may be studied and collected for their special and unique properties: 'Ornate', 'Corrusque/Corruscated', 'Archetypal', 'Chinked/Chinque/Cubist', 'Interface', 'Bezel/Molten', 'Metaphysical', 'Extruded', and others. As an additional bonus, I have some evidence that my signature could have historical importance, due to my status as an philosophical author, inventor, and poet. I design my work to be highly collectible, and encourage my patrons to view my work as a 'readable' text, with psychological and even computational effects on perception.
