About The Artwork

The boat made of violin represents the power of art and beauty, as the girl sets sail on a journey seeking art and beauty in life. The tranquil sea at night symbolizes a sense of inner peace and tranquility. The painter's depiction of the melodious sound of the violin drifting through the air suggests that art and beauty can transcend boundaries and reach far and wide. As the boat passes by a harbor, the bright lights symbolize the power of hope and guidance. The light of art and beauty can help guide us towards our purpose and direction in life. At the end of the bay, along the coastline, the faint lights of a distant city symbolize the girl's aspirations and hope for the future. The light of art and beauty illuminates the long, dark night at sea, becoming a lighthouse to guide her towards her goals and aspirations, giving her hope and positivity. This painting expresses the girl's pursuit of art and beauty in life, highlighting her ability to see hope and guidance even in the face of challenges and obstacles, along with her aspirations and dreams for the future. The power of art and beauty plays a crucial role, transcending time and space, providing us with direction and purpose, and allowing us to see light and hope in the darkness.

I was born in 1969 in Guang'an, Sichuan, China. I graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Southwest Normal University and became a freelance artist afterwards. My early works were mainly oil paintings, influenced by Impressionist and Post-Impressionist artists such as Monet and Seurat. Through continuous learning and creative practice, I gradually integrated the artistic essence of Matisse, Picasso, Dali, Chagall and other artists, and combined with my own Chinese cultural background to develop my own mature artistic style.
