About The Artwork

I was inspired by the fashion-blogger Andi Csinger and her photo in different shoes grabbed my heart a long time ago? It makes so much sense..This artwork is about freedom to choose what you want. Beauty or convenience? More and more oftern we change shoes to sneakers - it’s more comfortable, more harmonious with the clothes that we wear these days. Comfortable clothes are now modern, fashionable and beautiful, and flat shoes look great not only with jeans and sweatpants, but also with dresses and skirts? But sometimes we want high heels to feel sexy and confident. What do you choose? Materials used: paper, acrilyc, watercolor pencil The artwork could be framed in a passepartout and wooden frame The artwork is signed on the front and on the back

Hello! My name is Olesya Izmaylova, and I live and work in Finland. I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. I paint in my unique technique with acrylics and sometimes watercolor pencils on canvas and paper. Presently, my artwork graces private collections in diverse corners of the globe – from Finland to Sweden, England, Uzbekistan, and Japan. My unique author's formula bring together the latest trends within stylish, contemporary artworks. The charismatic cartoon cat and the world of fashion form the essence of my creations. The central character of many of my pieces is a cat, inspired by my own ginger 9-kilogram domestic companion - the personification of each of us, our inner worlds, sometimes more courageous, free and liberated. Drawing inspiration from everyday life, where clothing and footwear set the tone for each morning, my cat mirrors our aspiration to be vibrant, stylish, free, and sometimes tenderly vulnerable – regardless of the role we embrace on any given day. My artistic philosophy is firmly rooted in individuality, and thus, my works strive to convey moods and emotions, allowing each viewer to find a piece of themselves within the canvas. My paintings resonate with a sense of self-sufficiency and self-assuredness, coexisting with an underlying warmth and affection. These pieces are particularly suited for those seeking to cultivate an environment of harmony between the outer world and their inner selves, a setting permeated by love and harmony.
