ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I went to a festival this summer, Governor's Ball. It was my first festival since Covid and I was so excited! I showed up in full festival gear; light up tutu, pink space buns, and giant butterfly wings. As I was dancing with my wings, someone gave me a death stare because I was taking up too much space. My heart dropped and I retreated into myself, but only for a moment. A very nice gentleman saw this and shouted "don't let them kill your shine, butterfly!!" He and his friends formed a circle around me, so I could twirl and dance and spread my wings, shouting "shine on!" the whole time. This is your inner fire breaking through. Shine on, butterflies. Shine on!
