Kazem Rezayan started his journey at the age of 15 by attending classes under the tutelage of renowned impressionist artist Gholamhossein Saber in Shiraz. By the age 21, he hosted his first exhibition at Vesal Art Gallery in Shiraz, and sold most of his watercolour paintings to various private art collectors. Of those who attended, many were prominent Iranian figures, including Mansour Owji, an Iranian poet. Since then, he has participated in various solo and group exhibitions in Seyhoun Art Gallery. Majority of his artwork includes watercolour and oil paintings, drawn from the outdoors during his adventures in the heart of Iran, and more recently, in Canada. Other times, he collects photographs from his journeys and paints from the comfort of his own studio. While drawing from photographs, he routinely combines his own interpretations to express and celebrate the beauty of colours through his lens.
