ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I returned to painting this artwork several times over the course of three years. It embodies a very important period in my life: when I learned to hear myself, to make my choice. Then I wore red hair, was very thin and dreamy. I constantly made the wrong choice, because before that I did not know how. Then I was very happy and I think that from that time began my period of self-knowledge. The work is written using imprints of body parts. This is a one of a kind painting which is done on gallery wrapped canvas, with no need for framing, as the edges are painted. Artwork is finished with a final layer of protective varnish.
