ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is about a common old custom, to dry clothes outside/by the sunlight.The custom has been back as a way to promote a sustainable environment in which less use of the driers is promoted. The work (in this painting) was done the wet on wet technique, in which wet layers of watercolor pigment were applied to the paper, and when the paper was very wet, I used the back of the paintbrush to draw the lines that made the composition.
