Débora Sánchez Viqueira is a designer and artist living in Madrid, Spain since 2002. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she studied interior architecture and design. Her relationship with drawing and painting begins from a very young age, in Buenos Aires, where she takes classes in art workshops of renowned argentine masters, which drives her to develop a great passion for different materials. The evolution within the interior architecture is developed in Argentina and Spain, through numerous interior design projects, and from 2002 she creates Miyabi casa, a company highly linked to design, and then Miyabi contract and DSV by Miyabi casa, being the co-founder and creative director of the three brands. This is how, through painting and digital art, she brings to life the collections of Miyabi casa group, exhibited in Maison et Objet (Paris), ICFF (New York)), BDNY (new york), Salone del Mobile de Milano and present in interior design studios of Europe, Middle East and Usa. Her work is based on photos from her travels, which she depicts on canvas or paper, using collage techniques, digital art, acrylics, oils, watercolors, etc. The style is abstract expressionism, and the colors can be vibrant or neutral, without focus or limitation and thanks to the use of innovative materials, it achieves a three-dimensional and movement effect.
