Ekant 1 - the solitude Print

Inspired by the work of Paul Klee, the painting depicts a serene rural landscape, with only a few people being seen. The figures of people are indistinct and melt into the background. It gives a feeling of 'Ekant' - the Hindi word for solitude. The artwork is a diptych, each painting of 40 inches height and 20 inches width. Both together are 40 inches x 40 inches. It is acrylic on canvas. 'Ekant 1' can be seamlessly put side by side with the second of the series i.e. 'Ekant 2' to form a large piece of total size 80 in wide x 40 in high.
