El Construtivismo en Latino America nº5 Print

This painting is in line with the constructivist tradition of visual arts, both European, Latin American and, particularly, Brazilian. For some years I have been working on the development of a line of research, which seeks to study and experience dynamic relationships in the pictorial space. These relationships are associated with the search for harmonic and disharmonic chromatic relations, which seek to subtly touch the observer's sensitivity. I am therefore looking for a painting in which space, shape and color can relate to each other in an aesthetically incisive way in order to reach, more than look, the spirit of those who relate to it. In this type of work, I use acrylic paint applied both with a brush and spatula, Conté crayon pencil, charcoal, pastel pencils and colored Posca pens, usually applied on canvas. The work is ready to be hung on the wall. The side finish (see photo) does not require the placement of a frame, however nothing prevents a frame from being placed. In this case, I always prefer to use black frames, as they highlight the chromatic relationships of the painting.
